The Reward from Retail
November 10, 2007Excellent customer service — brightens up their day, and brightens up mine. A customer loved me so much, she felt bad about not buying from our store. She asked if our store paid by commission or if there was any way she could commend me. I told her it was my pleasure and wished that the jacket I placed on hold for her at another store would fit perfectly.
She called me young and very cute. She was so amused about my tiny self, as most people are. LOL!
LOL! Yeah, I DEFINITELY want to work on service. There's no place where a person can be appreciated more. That's why the whole concept of becoming a child advocate is so appealing too.
Like I said in this article I once wrote… This might not be perfect altruism because giving people pleasure is to my advantage, but who cares? If you can make people happy and benefit despite your selfishness, why not?
